Broken doesn't
mean finished.

A one-tech shop doing board-level work most places won't touch — loose ports, dead screens, drives that stopped talking. Tell me what happened and you'll get a straight answer about whether it's worth fixing.

Free assessment. You get a quote before anything is opened.

Quick triage

Should you fix it or replace it?

Two taps for an honest first read. This is a starting point, not a diagnosis — the real answer comes from having it on the bench.

1 — What is it?

2 — What's it doing?

What comes across the bench

Services

  • Circuit & port repair

Loose HDMI and charging ports, cracked solder joints, blown fuses, corrosion. Board-level work, not "replace the whole unit."

  • Screen replacements

Cracked glass and dead panels on laptops, phones, and tablets. Digitizer and backlight faults included.

  • Tune-ups & data transfers

Machine crawling, or moving to a new one? Cleanup, fresh installs, and getting every file across intact.

  • Custom PC builds

Gaming rig or office machine. Parts picked to your budget, assembled, tested, and handed over ready to use.

Why this shop exists

The right to repair

Most devices that get thrown out were never actually dead. A $6 port, a reflowed joint, a failed cell — replaced by a $900 purchase because nobody offered the other option.

That's the whole reason this bench exists. If it can be saved, I'll tell you. If it genuinely can't, I'll tell you that too, and I won't charge you to find out.

Pricing

No price list yet — on purpose.

Two identical-looking laptops can be a 20-minute fix and a four-hour teardown. Rather than post numbers that turn out wrong, every job starts with a free look and a firm quote.

What moves the number

  • Parts cost, and whether the part is still made
  • How far in the device the failure sits
  • Whether data recovery is involved
  • How fast you need it back
